1. Who we are
Dexlinkx is a control plane for self-hosted server hosting. We help you install, pair and manage your own servers for hosting, domains, databases, apps, agents and updates.
Dexlinkx operates as a control plane for server metadata, accounts, server status, agent communication, planning, billing and support — not as storage for your website content.

3. What we do not store by default
Dexlinkx does not, by default, store customer website files, project source code, media uploads, .env files, database dumps or full website databases on Dexlinkx servers as part of normal control-plane operation.
Your website content and project data remain on your own server.
Exceptions may apply if you explicitly upload files to Dexlinkx support, beta signup or future backup features that you actively enable.
4. Why we process data
We process personal data to:
- Provide account and beta access
- Pair and manage servers
- Show server health and status
- Run hosting, domain and database workflows
- Provide updates, diagnostics and support
- Secure the platform
- Improve the product if you have consented to analytics
- Handle billing and subscriptions when enabled
5. Legal bases
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract and performance of service — to create and manage your account and perform actions you request
- Legitimate interests — for security, logging, reliability and product improvement where those interests are not overridden by your rights
- Consent — for optional cookies, analytics and marketing
- Legal obligation — for accounting, tax and other legal requirements when billing is enabled
6. Sharing data
Dexlinkx does not sell personal data. We may share data with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Email providers if used
- Stripe when payments are enabled
- Analytics providers only if you have consented
- Support and ticketing tools when needed
- Authorities when required by law
All providers must process data on our instructions and under appropriate data-processing terms.
7. Retention
- Account data is retained while your account exists
- Beta signup data is retained until withdrawn or converted to an account
- Logs and diagnostics are kept for limited periods where possible
- Billing data is retained as required by law
- Support data is retained as needed to handle your request
8. International transfers
Dexlinkx may process data within the EEA and, where necessary, in other countries through our providers.
If personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms where required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions
- Restrict certain processing
- Object to certain processing
- Data portability where applicable
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
